Love One Another (Part 1 of 2)

Anytime you get six kids crammed into one house you will have quarreling. It doesn’t really matter what size the house is, because there are more factors than that. For one thing, you have six different personalities to deal with. Dad’s method for settling sibling disputes was rather easy. He just locked the quarreling kids together in the bathroom and let them work out their problems. It didn’t take more than five minutes for the quarrelers to settle down.
One summer day all six of us were going at it. It seemed we were all against our sister, Karen and even baby Christopher was getting into the fight.
Mom had had enough. She took us into her bedroom and shut the door. She didn’t shut the door to keep other kids out, because we were all in there; she shut the door to keep us from getting away. She calmly told us to sit on her bed. For someone who was to eventually have eight children, she had to be calm.
